How to WordPress Setup on Localhost

What We Need to Setup WordPress?

WordPress setup for need to do download WordPress. We need to start two files. One Xampp Server, two WordPress files. WordPress files need to be downloaded from wordpress.org website.

How do we Collect the files?

Xampp Server Download

Open your Browser and search Xampp Download. After searching on Google, we are seeing lot of results found our display. Now find apachefriends.org URL website then go here.

We see lot of versions the xampp server after visit this URL. Have to do download the latest version. Now we will download the xampp server of the operator version that we are using “Windows, Linux, OSX”. When You click Download button it’s automatically start to download.

Next to setup WordPress

Again, open the next tab and search on google wordpress.org not wordpress.com. After opening the wordpress.org website we will see the Get WordPress button on the right side. click Get WordPress then we will see two sections, one ‘Download and install it yourself’ two ‘set up with a hosting provider’. see the Download and install it yourself section under download WordPress just click it. After clicking the download button WordPress downloads automatically with zip files.

Start Setup WordPress

Now open your download folder and double click these download files or you can right click and run as administrator. we see to stating to setup xampp after wait a moment get found a warning ‘This means need to permission to your own pc’. Don’t worry, just click the ok button. After we see three buttons Back, Next, Cancel. We will keep clicking the next button every time the next button appears. After last next click, we will see installing unpacking files. After I completed the setup xampp server it said “Do you want to start the control panel now?”. We unselected the icon and clicked the finished button. Congratulations we success to setup xampp server perfectly.

Next Process to Xamp and WordPress

Now press your pc operator home button. I using windows operator So need to press windows button key on keyboard and search xampp. That’s good we find xampp software if it’s setup perfectly. Okay, click the open button xampp software will be open perfectly. We are seeing many options on this xampp server. We need to just two Apache and MySQL. see both right side there will be find start button. just click the start button, without do not click the start button (Apache, MySQL). Now minimize xampp and remove all tab from your browser.

See if the Xampp Server has Run

Now search localhost and Enter button in your keyword. If run perfectly xampp server we will see under this image dashboard.
All Okay, this time we need to click phpMyAdmin menu. Now we see the database where we need to create database for WordPress. Okay Now follow me, just click Database and put your database name what you want ‘Any Name’. then click the create button all good database creates successfully.

WordPress Setup

If everything is fine so far, now you need to go WordPress zip to unzip. Just select WordPress zip file and right click we will see extract to wordpress-6-3 ‘6-3 is the version name, don’t worry you may look different in your case’. Now we see the new folder on your pc like this name wordpress-6-3. Open this folder and copy all the files. Open your local drive ‘C drive’, xamp, htdocs.

After opening htdocs folder and create a database with the same folder name. then open the new create folder and paste all WordPress files.

Final Step to WordPress setup

Congratulations coming this far. Open a new tab in your browser and type localhost/your-database name then press enter key. Now we see WordPress setup option. select your language what you want for your need and continue. Now WordPress tells us what information we need. We will read everything carefully and click the Let’s Go button. Now some information will go to us and we will fill it in correctly. We will provide the name given here while creating the database. User Name will be root, after giving these database and name, we will not change the rest again click the submit button. After clicking the submit button we can see a page here it says run the installation, click here. Now fill-up website name, username, password, email and click install WordPress button. If everything goes well our WordPress setup will complete successfully. Click log in button and fill-up username and password. I will login using the password and username that I have just given. Congratulations we are successfully done to WordPress setup.
